TPMG Gallery Show and Sale at Art Square 

December 15th to January 15th

Rules 

• Members are eligible for entry if they live within a 80 KM radius of the GTA and they had joined TPMG prior to September 16th 2005.
• The first 25 paid applicants before the registration deadline will if they have met the rules automatically have one photo accepted for the show. (registration will start as soon as treasury services are available). Entrants after the first 25 people or after the registration deadline (unless numbers are too few) will not be able to participate and will have their $25 entrance fee returned.
• The show theme with any geographical restrictions for the photographs will be noted on the application form.
• Each applicant will have the option of requesting to show up to a limit of 4 photographs. The applicant must provide the photos to the standards set out below. In the unlikely case the applicant does not provide all the photos by the stated deadlines, at the discretion of TPMG they can be barred from entering any of the photos and in this case no fees and payments shell be returned.
• By the date specified all applicants must supply all the finished photos/print with a description, title, method and asking price and required mat opening size. One photograph from each participant will be chosen for the show. Additionally to fill the gallery space approximately 25 photographs will be chosen from the remaining pool of photographs. Each applicant will be notified which of their photograph(s) has been accepted. 
• Application fee $25 paid on application  (includes one photo). We will request  at the time of acceptance $10 per each additional photo. All monies collected will be used to cover expenses  including the base reception costs.
• Seller sets the price with a maximum asking price of $500 with 25% of the sale going to the gallery
• Each photo will have a price, title and a description, this will be printed and posted next to photo. Each participant should also provide a bio.
• Minimum picture size is height +  width = 24 " both height and width must be greater then 8"  Example a 11" x 14" print is 11 + 14 = 25 which is over the minimum, or 8" x 15" is 8 + 15=23 which is too small.
• It is the entrant's responsibility to make sure they have the legal right to sell the photograph.
• All prints must be certified (honor system) by the participant to be stable from fading under light use  for greater then 10 years. If we sell something it needs to last more then a few years on the wall without fading its up to the person to check out the paper and ink or photographic process that they are using.
• TPMG will specify the frames and mats that will be used for the show.  This will give a consistent appearance and quality. The club will endeavor to get the best volume discount.
• Both the club and the gallery maintain the right to exclude a piece in the unlikely case it is deemed unpresentable due to not meeting the rules, quality issues or because of the subject matter. 
• It is requested but not mandatory that shrink wrap small copies of the entries be provided for sale at a maximum of $19 per copy.
